— Charlotte Hall Veterans Home is an affordable alternative to private nursing care. A program of the Maryland Department of Veterans Affairs (MDVA), Charlotte Hall opened in 1985, has 504 beds, and is located on 126 acres just outside the nation’s capitol in historic St. Mary’s County.

Provides support services, such as support groups, early-stage programs, educational events, care consultation, and more for families affected by Alzheimer's disease and other dementias.
