PRINT DISTRIBUTION

Benefit: Distributed free-of-cost by professionals and organizations (physicians, financial advisors, agencies on aging, senior centers, etc.) dealing specifically with active, older adults and their family members so there is no wasted distribution. Distribution is on a written request/reply basis to ensure that copies will be actively distributed. Timely marketing as it reaches older adults right before or as they are going through transitions in many areas of their lives.

ADDED BOOMERS MARKET
Since the oldest Boomers have now turned 60 and younger Boomers have older parents for whom they need information and resources, we have added a SECTION within the print guide titled Boomer’s Resource Guide. All advertisers in the Senior Citizen’s Guides also benefit from FREE exposure on www.BoomersResourceGuide.com.

CONTENT

Benefit: Useful articles and directory listings lend longevity to the guide. Unlike a newspaper or magazine that is read and discarded, the Guide can be referred to throughout the year and longer giving your advertisement repeated exposure. The Guide is at least 60% content and no more than 40% advertising, so you stand out!  You are set apart from your competitors since we only include services that have paid to advertise with us, making you one of the first options our readers consider.

PRINT ADVERTISING

COMPLIMENTARY ONLINE EXPOSURE AT www.SeniorCitizensGuide.com & www.BoomersResourceGuide.com

Benefit: Seniors are the fastest growing online market! Link from the Senior Citizen's Guide web page to increase the number of people visiting your site including older adults, caregivers, managed care providers, and many other organizations that serve as a source of referral to seniors!  We also rank very highly on Google for many senior related search phrases ("retirement communities in..."; "home health care in..."). As your local representative for more information and updated web statistics.

Artwork : Free artwork services are available for both the print and the web! View Artwork Specifications.

READERS AND ORGANIZATIONS ARE SAYING...

"We are pleased with the results we have received from our ad. Spindle Publishing makes advertising in their guide easy - they do all the work for you! Thank you Jenn for all your help - you do make this an easy job!"
Mary Ellen Luehm, Allegheny County Housing Authority.

"Senior Citizen's Guide has been a real asset to generating leads for Stapeley. I have had on an average of 2 to 3 inquiries each week. In case this does not sound impressive to you, it is. Our own site has not generated as many. Your web site makes it so easy to connect directly and access information from the local area desired. Whatever you are doing... keep doing it. It works for Stapeley."
MaryAnn Davis, Director of Marketing, Stapeley in Germantown (CCRC).

"My family has been using your (Pittsburgh) publication for the last 12 years. We have used it for my elderly grandmother and it has been a valuable reference source. Please send us 2, for both side of my family. Thank your for your service."
Clayton Ferguson, Reader, Lower Burrell, PA.

"The response to the book was overwhelming. Our AARP Group said it was like having a telephone directory in their hands. So much information. Spent part of our meeting referring to the book. They all send their thanks..."
Marianne Carchidi, President, AARP Chapter #1455.

"Enjoyed reading this year's guide. Consumers love it. Very informative."
Terri Brown, Lutheran Service Society.

"Love your book. I think our members will, too. Will be waiting for next year's."
Donald Conn, SOAR - Steelworkers, Organization of Active Retirees

"Our ad in the book brought us new consumers and business contacts as well."
Sister Mary Catherine Stana, Executive Director, Benedictine Center, Inc.

"Our members keep this book handy. They refer to it for many phone numbers."
Julie Papale, President, Morningside AARP Chapter

"Seniors are very pleased to have information targeted specifically to their age group."
Karen McMahon, Vice President Medical Affairs, Arthritis Foundation

"Our members were quite excited with the information available in this Senior Guide. I think it is a complete reference. Thanks for making it available to our members."
Harriet Lipsitz, President, Squirrel Hill AARP Chapter

"Today, I went swimming at the West Carrollton, Ohio YMCA. On the counter was a group of booklets titled "Senior Citizen's Guide to Cincinnati/Dayton". I took a copy home and started to read the contents and realized I wish I had had this information when I had to make quick decisions in 1990 for the benefit of my mother ...it would have been easier if I had had access to this publication ... I must congratulate Spindle Publishing Company for making these publications available to the general public. It is a tremendous service!"
Julian Ulloth, Miamisburg, OH

"Your latest edition of the Senior Citizen's Guide to Cleveland is your best ever. The informational section for Boomers is a real plus, and the articles are covering topics not seen in every other publication out there."
Barbara Comiskey, Comiskey Communications, Inc.

"I have now completely run out of the Senior Citizen’s Guide to Baltimore. I was wondering if I could have some more? I literally hand them out every day when I interview participants in this program. If the answer is yes, would 100 be too many? Let me know and thank you. The seniors really enjoy the publication, and I think it is great too!"
Kathryn Damico, Family and Children's Services, Baltimore, MD

"An excellent information source for seniors and their families. Especially the phone numbers/addresses of the various emergency services."
Yvonne Dewberry, Executive Secretary, Women's Non-Denominational Outreach Ministry

"The Senior Citizen’s Guide has proven to be a good way for our organization to connect with this older demographic market. Because our work concerns hearing healthcare, we are able to target information directly to the group that is most affected by hearing and balance issues. With multiple geographic issues, the Senior Citizen’s Guide has given us exposure to our intended market."
Tracy Harding, Publicity and Development Specialist, Audiology Foundation of America

"Great publication."
Rafael Gonzalez, Program Director, Chicago Department on Aging/Northwest Regional Center

"Thank you so much for responding so quickly. How staffs that deal with seniors and vulnerable adults greatly appreciate this. We are looking forward to the December 2007 issue as well."
Amelia D. Graham, Social Worker, Dept. of Human Services, State of Michigan

"Our clients very much enjoy and count on your guide. Please continue the great job you do."
Moving Forward, LLC - Detroit, Michigan

"I have already distributed the pamphlets you sent me earlier. The patients found them very useful. They will be in the waiting area of the eye clinic. Please send the guide for Baltimore, Maryland."
Joseph W. Berkow, MD, Krieger Eye Institute, Baltimore, MD.
