ACCESS 65 Plus
Visit a senior center to sign up OR call 412-562-5353 or
TDD 800-654-5984 to get an application. Riders pay a
fee based on eligibility and distance traveled. ACCESS
is door-to-door, advance reservation, shared ride-trans-
portation serving primarily senior citizens and persons
with disabilities.

If you are not able to ride public transportation, you
may qualify for ACCESS ADA. Riders pay a fee.
Medical Assistance Transportation Program (MATP )

If you need to go to a routine medical appointment or
buy your prescription drugs and you are on medical as-
sistance, you can use this free service.
Older Persons Transportation (OPT)............ 412-350-5460
Visit a senior center to sign up. Persons 60 through 64
years have some medical travel privileges. Limits on
locations and usage. Riders pay a fee.
PA Dept of Transportation - Free Transit Program

Senior citizens age 65 or over who present a Pennsylva-
nia Senior Citizen ID Card or a Medicare card at the time
of fare payment are entitled to ride for free on the bus,
T or Mon Incline at all times. Apply for the Pennsylva-
nia Senior Citizen ID Card at Port Authority’s Downtown
Service Center at 534 Smithfield Street in Downtown
Pittsburgh or at selected Senior Citizen Centers through-
out Allegheny County.
