Since 1991, Extended Home Living Services (EHLS) has helped thousands of people successfully remain in their home by creating accessible, barrier-free environments. EHLS has also made innumerable churches and public buildings more accessible. Today, EHLS is the number one source for lifts and accessibility modifications in the Chicago area – serving Northeastern Illinois, Southern Wisconsin and Northwestern Indiana. We have grown into a national leader in the industry with a full-time staff of 18 professionals, who along with construction trades-people do hundreds of accessibility projects each year. In 2004, EHLS opened To The Top Home Elevator to focus on residential elevators for the new construction market. EHLS is a Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist, licensed general contractor, and a licensed elevator contractor.
