Residential Retirement Communities
Kendal-Crosslands Communities offers a wide spectrum of retirement choices in a beautiful and conveniently situated country setting. Kendal at Longwood and Crosslands are full service continuing care retirement communities (CCRCs) providing a complete range of residential amenities and lifetime health care, under a contract, with an entrance fee and ongoing monthly fees. Coniston and Cartmel, two residential retirement communities, offer maintenance and housekeeping services. Residents pay a one-time occupancy rights fee and ongoing monthly fees.
Coniston and Cartmel are residential retirement communities for persons aged 50 and older. Residents enjoy the comfort and privacy of their own home, freed from responsibilities of home ownership. Coniston and Cartmel each have a residents' association which participates in various aspects of community operation. Many people choose Cartmel or Coniston as an intermediate step before moving to Kendal or Crosslands.
