Presbyterian Homes, based in Evanston, is a not-for-profit, non-sectarian organization with a national reputation for creating extraordinary communities for older adults. The organization continues to honor the mission of its Chicago founders who, even in 1904, believed in providing joyful, engaging and spirited communities. Presbyterian Homes’ continuing care communities offer residents a wealth of life-enriching activities on beautifully landscaped campuses, plus an extensive program of wellness services to promote self-reliance and vigor. Their communities are located in Evanston, Arlington Heights and Lake Forest.
Presbyterian Homes’ campuses include Westminster Place in northwest Evanston, King Home and Ten Twenty Grove in downtown Evanston, The Moorings of Arlington Heights, and Lake Forest Place. Each campus has its own atmosphere special look - from charming cottages and villas to spacious apartment homes.
Superb recreational and exercise opportunities are found on each campus as well. For example, the Kimble Fitness Center at Westminster Place offers personal trainers, indoor pools, a fitness room with strength-training equipment and more than 30 different wellness and exercise programs. In every setting, residents can choose to take advantage of trips, lectures, clubs, and regularly scheduled celebrations.
