Dorothy C. Scott, M.D. founded the practice in the late fifties and established a tradition of quality medical care. Our medical practice continues that commitment to excellence.
We maintain several office locations for the convenience of our patients.
About Our Physicians And Staff
Our practice includes two physicians/surgeons, William C. Christie, M.D. and Daniel Zimmer, M.D. FACS (that are both board certified ophthalmologists); in addition, we have four optometrists, Christopher N. Carver, O.D.; Anita M. Chichon, O.D.; Timothy C. McKernan, O.D.; and Derek W. O'Donnell, O.D.

Our Patient Care
Our medical practice is uniquely designed to meet all of your eye care
needs including routine vision care services and the medical and surgical
treatments of eye diseases. In the general population it is estimated
that 1-3 Americans have some form of vision-impairing eye disease. To
treat, manage or slow the progression of loss of vision due to glaucoma,
cataracts, macular degeneration, diabetes and other eye diseases is the
focus of our various senior eye care programs.
New To Our Practice
The Eye Technology Center, our state of the art testing facility, which
is available in both our Pittsburgh and Cranberry locations. Testing with
immediate results provided same day as visit. Also, located with us in
our Cranberry facility is The Surgery Center At Cranberry, which helps
us to provide your office visit, testing and surgeries (cataract &
glaucoma) all in one location.
