The Kenwood Successful Living Series will present:  “The Sandwich Generation.” 
(5:00 p.m. – refreshments and registration; 5:30-8:00 p.m. – program) This informative seminar will provide valuable advice for adults caught between caring for aging parents while still caring for their children at home. Complimentary refreshments will be offered.

Topics of discussion will focus on the key issues facing the Sandwich Generation:  financial planning, estate planning and care giving strategies for aging parents. This event is free and open to the public, however, reservations are required.

- Home Health Aide Training Program
An award-winning home health aide training program founded and operated by Council on
Aging of Southwestern Ohio will transfer to Mercy Neighborhood Ministries beginning Oct. 1.

Called Council on Aging Learning Advantages (COALA), the program has served a dual
purpose:

• help fill a growing demand for trained and qualified home health aides, and

• provide a self-sustaining career path for people who have been on public assistance
and/or marginally employed
