Transitional Paths to Independent Living (TRPIL) is a Center for Independent Living that brings together individuals who face common barriers – in equal access, assistive technology, education, employment, housing, and transportation – in order to solve these problems. Anyone who self-identifies as having a disability that affects a major life area (for example, the ability to work) can come through our doors and get support to identify and achieve their goals. As a CIL, we provide the five core Independent Living Services (advocacy, independent living skills training, information & referral, peer support, and transition) as well as other programs and services, to promote people with disabilities living lives they choose, in the places they choose.
